ABSTRACT
Proteomic analyses by two-dimensional electrophoresis, of BOA-treated lettuce leaves, confirm RubisCO degradation and senescence-induced hypothesis, previously suggested for BOA mode of action. Main proteomic changes suggest the establishment of a plant stress response, including detoxification mechanisms, after BOA exposition.
Keywords: Two-dimensional electrophoresis, phytotoxic compound, proteome, senescence.
